MSFD/CFP post-2020 joint NGO workshop

Description

A two day workshop with both present and online participation of NGOs. The general aim was to jointly discuss the two different frameworks/policies because although they are different, the questions about their future are similar and as CCBs focus is to bring them closer together and there are broad strategic decisions that should be discussed together. The meeting gathered experts working separately on the MSFD and CFP to encourage cross-fertilization.

CCB was part of the preparation organized by sister organisation Seas At Risk. CCB held a presentation as a frame of setting GES as the main objective front and center as well as the regionalisation of both CFP and MSFD. CCB presentation here: CCB about CFP vs MSFD shared future
