What is HELCOM?
The Baltic Marine Environment Protection Commission – also known as the Helsinki Commission (HELCOM) – is an intergovernmental organization (IGO) and a regional sea convention in the Baltic Sea area. HELCOM was established about four decades ago to protect the marine environment of the Baltic Sea from all sources of pollution through intergovernmental cooperation. Description
The 58th Meeting of the Heads of Delegation (HOD 58-2020) was held online on 9-10 June 2020. It started on Tuesday, 9 June at 9:00 o’clock and ended on Wednesday, 10 June by 16:00 o’clock.
