What is HELCOM?
The Baltic Marine Environment Protection Commission – also known as the Helsinki Commission (HELCOM) – is an intergovernmental organization (IGO) and a regional sea convention in the Baltic Sea area. HELCOM was established about four decades ago to protect the marine environment of the Baltic Sea from all sources of pollution through intergovernmental cooperation. On the 12.06.2020 from 08:00 to 11:00 CET was held online the Dedicated Meeting of the HELCOM Group on Sustainable Agricultural Practices.
Maria Staniszewska who works for Poland Polish Ecological Club participated to the event on behalf of CCB. Gunnar Norén, CCB Senior Advisor also took part in the meeting.
