The conference was held under the auspices of the international coalition Czas na Odrą, whose initiators are: the Czech organization Arnika (www.arnika.org), the German BUND (www.bund.net) and the Sustainable Development Foundation.
Description
The international conference on the new vision of sustainable development of the Oder River and related areas. took place on May 5 at 10:00 in Wrocław, on the Odra River, in the middle of the river in the Concordia Design facility.
In an international line-up, the event focused on natural potential of the Oder valley, opportunities and challenges related to it. The conference was also an opportunity to debate the vision of development and the actions needed at regional, national and European levels, the need to act in the face of the climate crisis and new solutions in the context of the European Green Deal. Nature and the need to protect it - also in the face of the challenges of the European Biodiversity Strategy until 2030 - was a priority in this event. The conference was held under the patronage of the Representation of the European Commission in Wrocław.
