The Save The Baltic Sea hiking expedition reached Stockholm in June and met with CCB to discuss the role of offshore wind energy in the Baltic Sea’s future.

Save The Baltic Sea is an environmental initiative taking place throughout 2024, involving a team of activists hiking all around the Baltic Sea to raise awareness about its critical state and inspire collective action for a better future for our waters.

Outcomes of the meeting
The meeting fostered collaboration among the two organisations and raised awareness about the pressure related to the growth of offshore wind energy on our marine ecosystems.
