What is EUSBSR?
The European Union Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR) is the first Macro-regional Strategy in Europe. The Strategy was approved by the European Council
in 2009 following a communication from the European Commission. The Strategy is divided into three objectives, which represent the three key challenges of the Strategy: saving the sea, connecting the region
and increasing prosperity.
Opis
The EUSBSR PA Ship Operational Group meeting was online on April 23, 2024 from 12:30 – 15:30.
The PA Ship Operational Group gathers together national and regional governments, operational authorities, research institutes, and private sector to discuss the present and future trends in the shipping sector.
Its main aim is to connect PA Ship projects with the wider expert stakeholder group for information exchange. It also aims to “mind the gap” – to identify industry and research needs. CCB is attending the meetings organized twice a year.

Outcomes of the meeting
The participants discussed potential funding opportunities and CCB presented the RED NOISE BALTSHIP project.
