On August 21st scientists presented results of EU-funded project “MARINE MAMMALS: Science education” in Kiel. MARINE MAMMALS is an EU-funded project to further increase young people’s interest in natural science. The conference included presentations about the outcomes and contestants of the MARINE MAMMALS activities were present to answer questions on how they experienced the activities and materials, and CCB participated to learn about the material from the project and how it can be used in educating CCB members for example at OCB, as well as in public outreach.
