What is ASCOBANS? ASCOBANS was concluded in 1991 as the Agreement on the Conservation of Small Cetaceans of the Baltic and North Seas (ASCOBANS) under the auspices of the Convention on Migratory Species (CMS or Bonn Convention) and entered into force in 1994. To know more about it.

Description

From the 18 Jan 2022 to 19 Jan 2022 was the ASCOBAN's annual meetings. The Steering Group for the ASCOBANS Conservation Plan for Harbour Porpoise in the North Sea (North Sea Group) reviewed progress under the action plan, learned about complementary initiatives, and worked on the implementation forward.
