The Plastic Free Week in Latvia and Estonia 20-26 November was organised in parnership with with Riga Technical University, Professional colleges, Getliņi EKO, and the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Latvia and Estonia.
The aim was to promote awareness of plastic pollution and its impact on the environment and encourage people to find alternatives to plastic in their everyday lives.
Activities: An online competition where participants were invited to offer alternatives to plastic in their everyday life.
Physical reward: • For Latvian participants – December 1, Getliņi EKO • For Estonian participants – November 30, TBA
Open to: All scholars, students, and network members were welcome to participate. The activity is open to individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
