“Time for the Oder” is an international partnership of three river alliances of civil society organizations. They advocate the permanent protection of the Oder and its catchment area for the citizens of the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland and Europe.
Description
On 8 February 2023, organizations from the international coalition “Time for the Oder” and from the coalition “Save the Rivers” concerned about the situation of the Oder river met in Wrocław, Poland to exchange information and agree on joint initiatives. They agreed and call governments to take real action to reduce salinity, microplastics and other pollutants in the Oder.
Ewa Leś, CCB's Working Area Leader on Eutrophication took part in the meeting.
