Official meetings of all HELCOM Working and Experts Groups and other subsidiary bodies are postponed due to the HELCOM strategic pause until further notice, however, informal consultation sessions, without Russian participation, are organized and hosted by a Contracting Party.
The informal consultation sessions process and discuss documents and provide guidance and recommendations as to how to progress work.

Description
The PROTECT BALTIC kick-off meeting was organised in Helsinki, Finland on 5 -7 September 2023. CCB is a project partner of the PROTECT BALTIC project and was represented at the meeting by Andrea Cervantes, CCB's Biodiversity Officer. More information about the project: https://protectbaltic.eu/
Outcomes of the meeting:
- with this meeting, CCB contributed to the development of the implementation plans for the relevant WPs of the project in which CCB is involved.
