For over 30 years, Our Common Baltic has been a transformative experience for young environmental advocates from across the Baltic Sea Region. Starting as an annual training for CCB's network aboard the 100-year-old wooden ship Amaila, this unique educational course has brought together passionate young professionals and activists dedicated to the protection of the Baltic Sea.
Since its inception, the program has gathered over 300 participants from all Baltic countries, providing them with vital knowledge about environmental protection and empowering them to become leaders in the protection of our Baltic Sea.
Latvia
The Our Common Baltic 2025 course is dedicated to Climate Change in the context of the Baltic Sea and its coastal ecosystems. Participants will explore how climate change is affecting the coast of Latvia, what measures can be taken to mitigate its impact, and how individuals can contribute to solutions.
Throughout the 5-day event, you will dive into:
Each day will blend lectures, group discussions, field activities, and hands-on work, with plenty of opportunities to network, collaborate with experts, and gain practical skills for future environmental action.

We are seeking 20 young participants from the Baltic Sea Region, aged 18-24, who are passionate about community activism, non-formal education, and environmental protection. We’re looking for individuals who are eager to actively share and spread the knowledge they gain during the course.

COSTS
Participation in the course is completely free of charge. Accommodation, meals, lectures, and outdoor activities are all covered by CCB. Additionally, we offer a refund for travel costs up to 200 Euro for participants from EU Member States and Eastern Partnership countries.
