International Seminar on Experience and initiatives to reduce environmental impacts and NGO cooperation possibilities on Daugava/Western Dvina river basin was arranged on 22-23 November 2017, in Daugavpils, Latvia (Hotel “Latgola”, Ģimnāzijas iela 46). The agenda of the event is available here.

Seminar was attended by over 30 participants from local and national Latvian authorities, research, academia and NGOs from Latvia, Belarus, Russia and Ukraine. The first day of the event was devoted to discussion of transboundary water management issues in Daugava catchment and the second day - to a visit to the Daugavas Loki National Park
