What is HELCOM?
The Baltic Marine Environment Protection Commission – also known as the Helsinki Commission (HELCOM) – is an intergovernmental organization (IGO) and a regional sea convention in the Baltic Sea area. HELCOM was established about four decades ago to protect the marine environment of the Baltic Sea from all sources of pollution through intergovernmental cooperation. Description
The Fourth Meeting of the Project Implementation Group (PLC-7 IG 4-2017) was held in the premises of the Swedish Agency for Marine and Water Management (SwAM), in Gothenburg, Sweden on 10-12 September 2018.
