What is HELCOM?
The Baltic Marine Environment Protection Commission – also known as the Helsinki Commission (HELCOM) – is an intergovernmental organization (IGO) and a regional sea convention in the Baltic Sea area. HELCOM was established about four decades ago to protect the marine environment of the Baltic Sea from all sources of pollution through intergovernmental cooperation. Description
The 25th Meeting of the Response Working Group (RESPONSE 25-2018) was held in Rostock-Warnemünde, Germany, 14-16 November 2018, at Hotel “Neptun” (address: Seestraße 19, 18119 Rostock-Warnemünde). The Meeting was hosted by the Central Command for Maritime Emergencies. The Meeting started on Wednesday, 14 November, at 10.00 and ended at 13.00 on Friday, 16 November.
