What is HELCOM?
The Baltic Marine Environment Protection Commission – also known as the Helsinki Commission (HELCOM) – is an intergovernmental organization (IGO) and a regional sea convention in the Baltic Sea area. HELCOM was established about four decades ago to protect the marine environment of the Baltic Sea from all sources of pollution through intergovernmental cooperation. Description
The 8th Meeting of the Agri group (AGRI 8-2019) was held in Berlin, Germany on 5-6 November 2019. The Meeting was hosted by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety and it was held at the premises of the Ministry (Köthener Straße 2-3, 10117 Berlin).
