Description

The porpoise's day in the Almedalen Library in Visby, Sweden, on 18 December 2021 at 12-16 CET.The Baltic porpoise is critically endangered with only a few hundred individuals left. Gotlanders have a unique opportunity and great responsibility in safeguarding it. For this event, porpoise experts were invited, activities for children and an exhibition were organised.

The CCB porpoise statue Pia was at the event. This day was a great opportunity to learn more about the porpoise's living conditions and threats, inspired by what can be done to help Baltic porpoises to survive.

Ida Carlén, CCB Biodiversity and Nature Conservation Officer took part in this event with a presentation about the Baltic porpoise.

This event is organized by: Suderbyn / RELEARN in collaboration with Coalition Clean Baltic and OX2.
