Meeting on Innovative funding instruments for nature

The networking meeting on Innovative funding instruments for nature. The meeting will take place on the mornings of 5-6 February 2025.

Building on the experiences of ongoing and completed LIFE and other relevant projects, this meeting aims to:
- Facilitate better understanding on the use of funding mechanisms for restoration/conservation actions other than public grants;
- Identify barriers that affect the supply and demand for innovative funding solutions;
- Highlight funding sources with scale-up potential drawing on lessons learned through LIFE projects;
- Explore effective approaches for the collection and distribution of funds for restoration and conservation actions.
