Outcomes of the event
- The Networking meeting on LIFE and innovative funding for nature convened policymakers, LIFE project representatives, and stakeholders from the public and private sectors to discuss funding strategies for nature conservation.

- The event spotlighted examples of innovative sources of funding beyond public grants, such as philanthropy, corporate contributions, and biodiversity credits, drawing on experiences from current and past LIFE projects.

- Through case studies and panel discussion sessions, participants explored the barriers, opportunities, and future potential of innovative funding sources. The meeting aimed to identify high-value approaches for mobilising additional funding sources to complement public grants and achieve the ambitious targets of the EU Nature Restoration Law.
