Creating and sustaining positive change in key thematic areas related to water - strengthening the role of NGOs in Belarus and Russia.
The programme is aimed at promoting sustainable water management and good environmental practices.
The programme started in 2020 and will run until the end of 2023.
It contributes to building strength and resilience of NGOs in engaging in environmental issues related to water. Programme’s activities are based on the results gained during the successful implementation of the NGO Programme for Strengthening Civil Society Engagement in Water Strategies in Belarus 2016-2019 and the Programme for Building Capacity and Involvement of Civil Society in Environmental and Natural Resources Management in North West Russia and the
Barents Sea (Barents Baltic Nature and People Programme, 2016-2019), and implemented by CCB and local partners in Belarus and Russia. Regarding various water protection and management aspects, the programme contributes to establishing cooperation between the public and environmental NGOs, and relevant local and national authorities willing to address the growing public interest in water topics.

How the programme is implemented?
The programme consists of 11 partners in Belarus and 12 partners in Russia. The partners develop and implement the activities of the programme.
Coalition Clean Baltic is in charge of coordinating the administrative aspects of the programme.
What is the expected impact?
The expected impact of the programme is to contribute to ensuring well-functioning water management and good environmental conditions for the people of Belarus and Russia.
