Beskrivning
The River fest was organized by "Friends of Neman" organization and the Center for Environmental Solutions (CES), and took place in Olkhovka, Belarus, on 28 September 2019.
The event was an opportunity to present the project "Return salmonid to Baltic small rivers" which aim at launching restoration of Baltic salmonid population in small Baltic Sea rivers, by generating and sharing knowledge on best cases and practices on migration barriers’ mitigation, including the construction of a pilot fauna passage fishway on Stracha river (Belarus), near Olkhovka village.
Then the organizers played a game focused on salmon with the school´s children, the teachers and the local residents, followed by a concert of the group "Рэха".
