ONA Short Film Festival aims to share life-changing stories of outdoor sports, nature, and environmental awareness. We believe these themes can have a vital impact on today’s society.
Beskrivning
The Festival, which tells non-ordinary stories of nature, environment and outdoor sports and organises a wide range of dynamic collateral activities, was held in Venice, Italy, on 8-9-10 September 2022.
CIRF and Wetlands International Europe, by launching a new festival award, the Freshwater Award, drew the attention on key issues related to rivers, lakes and wetlands. The competition was open to short films made in the last couple of years, with an indicative maximum length of 10 minutes, which present in a creative way (going beyond educational documentaries or video interviews) the need to protect and restore freshwater biodiversity.
