HELCOM - 13:e mötet i gruppen för hållbara jordbruksmetoder

The first of a series of workshops and activities between Coalition Clean Baltic (CCB) and SAP Sweden´s employees, under the project "Engage with civil society to support Baltic Sea environment protection", was held on 8 March 2023 (12:00 - 13:00 CET) in Stockholm, Sweden, and online.

The project, based on the pillar "Collaborate for sustainability" of SAP´s Corporate Social Responsibility, aimed to raise awareness, build skills and provide tools for improvements on three important environmental issues, relevant for the Baltic Sea:
- protection of critically endangered Baltic harbour porpoise – the only Baltic whale species;
- reduction of underwater noise from various sources, including ships and recreational boats;
- reduction of inputs of marine litter – through clean-ups and source reduction measures.

This first short meeting aimed to get to know each other, to share ideas and expectations for the joint project to help protecting the Baltic Sea.
