The Baltic Sea States Subregional Co-operation (BSSSC) is a political network for decentralised authorities (subregions) in the Baltic Sea Region.
The organisation was founded in Stavanger, Norway, in 1993. Its participants are regional authorities (level directly below the national level authorities) of the 9 Baltic Sea littoral states: Germany, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.

Beskrivning
On June 12, 2023 started the BSSSC Youth Event 2023. The youth event took place from June 12th to June 15th 2023 in the Nordkolleg Rendsburg, Region of Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.
The BSSSC Youth Event 2023 focused on discussions about the needs and demands of young people in the Baltic Sea Region. The main topic of discussion was sustainability.
The program for the event was:
Day 1: Arrival, getting to know and networking among youth representatives from the Baltic Sea Region
Day 2: Environmental sailing trip (KlimaSil) on the Baltic Sea
Day 3: Workshops on Democracy and Human Rights in the Baltic Sea Region, i.e. Russian attack on Ukraine, Human Trafficking and the Baltic Sea Region in the EU/ EU Elections 2024. Visit and Discussion by and with minister for European affairs Werner Schwarz.
The BSSSC Youth Event 2023 was a chance to meet with other young people from the Baltic Sea Region, to share and develop ideas and opinions on topics relevant to young people in the Baltic Sea Region. Furthermore, it was a chance to support the development of the Baltic Sea Region.
