Official meetings of all HELCOM Working and Experts Groups and other subsidiary bodies are postponed due to the HELCOM strategic pause until further notice, however, informal consultation sessions, without Russian participation, are organized and hosted by a Contracting Party.

Beskrivning
The HELCOM Baltic Sea Stakeholders Conference 2024 was an hybrid event, available for online and offline participation in Espoo, Finland, on 29 February 2024.
The conference served as the opening stakeholder event for the
PROTECT BALTIC project.
Alongside the main conference, a parallel online youth event was held to actively engage young individuals in discussions addressing the challenges being faced by the Baltic Sea.

Outcomes
- CCB is involved in the PROTECT BALTIC project and led the Legal frameworks for planning marine spaces workshop (online) during the conference. This workshop was the opportunity to present to various stakeholders the challenges and approaches for the project.
- The workshop output served as a starting point for research in the project intending to develop proposals for solutions.
- The results of the workshop have been included in the first deliverable report.
