Latvian Green Movement (LaGM) is an environmental non-governmental organisation (established in 2004) with more than 100 individual members and five regional groups working to promote environmental protection and public participation.
Beskrivning
On May 24, CCB's organisation the Latvian Green Movement (LaGM) organised a Clean Games in the Ventspils coastal area. The event covered around 5 ha of the coastal dune, beach and forest areas south of Ventspils town. Three schools participated in the event and the 74 participants collected around 1 tonne of waste.
Outcomes of the event
- the waste was collected and transported.
- 3 Schools were involved.
- 2 winners of the CG 2024 took part in the event, the Talsi Primary School and the Upesgriva Primary School.
- good cooperation was established with the local municipality - Ventspils Regional Council and the Latvian State Forests company.
The event was supported by Coalition Clean Baltic.
