Official meetings of all HELCOM Working and Experts Groups and other subsidiary bodies are postponed due to the HELCOM strategic pause until further notice, however, informal consultation sessions, without Russian participation, are organized and hosted by a Contracting Party.

The 1st informal consultation session of HELCOM Source to Sea Working Group (IC WG SOURCE TO SEA 1-2023 ), hosted by Finland, was held on 25-28 April 2023, in Helsinki, Finland.
The Session was attended by Delegations from Denmark, Finland, Germany, Lithuania, Poland and Sweden and by Observers from CCB, John Nurminen Foundation (JNF), Race for the Baltic, and United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
CCB participant in the session:
- Mikhail Durkin, CCB Executive Secretary
- Maria Staniszewska, Coalition Clean Baltic / Polish Ecological Club
Outcomes of the meeting:
- The Session took note of the information on a new Interreg Baltic project of relevance to the implementation of HELCOM BSAP and that CCB is a partner of (NonHazCity3).
