6th International Conference on Progress in Marine Conservation 2023
The German Federal Agency for Nature Conservation (BfN) has been organizing the international conference series "Progress in Marine Conservation" in cooperation with the OZEANEUM (German Oceanographic Museum Stralsund).

Beschreibung

Since 2006, the German Federal Agency for Nature Conservation (BfN) has been organizing the international conference series "Progress in Marine Conservation" in cooperation with the OZEANEUM (German Oceanographic Museum Stralsund). 

For this year's edition, the 6th International Conference on Progress in Marine Conservation 2023 tackled the following topic: 'How to Stop Biodiversity Loss - from Knowledge to Action', offering a forum for discussing current developments in marine nature conservation and research. Among other actions, they intended to develop a “Stralsund Note on Marine Nature Conservation” with the conference participants.

The event took place in Germany from 18 to 22 September 2023.
