CCB's Coast Watch Webinar and Plastic Monitoring was organised online on 4 April 2024, from 16-00 to 17-30. The training was organised for CCB Youth Group and offered the participants the opportunity to dive into CoastWatch and Plastic monitoring with detailed presentations of the methodology – followed by practical observations.

Outcomes of the webinarThe 15 participants learned about:
- the problems the Baltic Coast is facing
- why it is important to make research and observations
- new research methodologies (such as marine and coastal litter monitoring; brand audit; pellet hunting; study of microplastics in water.
- the use of research data and organisations taking care of the data collection and analysis.
