Other effective area-based conservation measures (OECMs) – Can they contribute to protecting the ocean?

This long paper outlines the CCB´s position on Other Effective Area-Based Conservation Measures (OECMs), highlighting and elaborating on several important points from HELCOM’s common understanding and assessing examples of marine area-based measures as candidate OECMs.
