Welcome to CCB 30th Anniversary page

2020 war das 30-jährige Jubiläum der Coalition Clean Baltic! Angesichts der Auswirkungen des Covid-19-Ausbruchs auf alle Länder, einschließlich Reisebeschränkungen und der Sicherheit aller Teilnehmer als unser Hauptanliegen, hat der CCB-Vorstand beschlossen, die Feier zu verschieben. Wir haben am 15. Mai 2020 die Online-Veranstaltung „Klimawandel und das Einzugsgebiet der Ostsee“ organisiert und einige Mitgliedsorganisationen haben Nebenveranstaltungen im Zusammenhang mit dem Jubiläum organisiert.

10. Kongress der pommerschen Ornithologen – Januar 2020, Łukęcin, Kamień PomorskiMehr als 80 Teilnehmer nahmen an der Veranstaltung teil, die Diashows von Touren, Multimedia-Präsentationen, einen Ausflug ans Meer und Vogelbeobachtungen sowie Stände mit ornithologischem Kunsthandwerk, eine Fotoausstellung, einen CCB-Stand (Gadgets, Lefleats, Informationen) und eine Präsentation über CCB (auf Polnisch) von Jakub Skorupski und Joanna Stańczak umfasste. Fotoausstellung anlässlich des 25. Latvia / Side event organized by CCB MO Latvian Green Movement

Due to Covid-19 pandemic, LaGM decided to arrange the side event for the CCB 30th Anniversary in two parts: one joint work to put up and renovate info signs on the illegal paths and roads in dunes and one meeting seminar to discuss future projects within CCB.

    1. Signs’ setting up and closing illegal dune roads (30 June) at Valgalciems – Upesgriva:

More than 20 LaGM members actively worked to close the illegal dune roads by renovating the old signs and setting up 24 new ones, with information about the dune’s protection.

    2. Informative seminar (10-11 July 2020) at Uguni lake:

21 participant were actively involved in planning and brain-storming on the Baltic Sea protection topics. New project ideas within CCB were discussed, such as coastal protection, permaculture and alternative-organic farming. Moreover, to inform about the political updates and the Ministry’s initiatives on the Baltic Sea policies, Ms Alda Ozola, the Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and  Regional Development was invited at the seminar.

Lettland / Nebenveranstaltung organisiert vom CCB MO Lettischer Umweltschutzclub – VAK

Thanks to the support of the CCB, ​​a Baltic Sea room was established by Environmental Protection Club of Latvia at the Green Awakening Museum  Pils Street 1 in Jurmala.

In the Baltic sea room the Baltic Sea wall was created, a stand “people guard the sea” was created, as well as information sheets on the history of the Baltic Sea and with information on the main environmental problems and possible solutions. The exhibition in an interactive way show the beauty, the historical significance of the Baltic Sea and the dangers due to human activity. The exhibition include information on 30 years of CCB activity materials (documents, photos, items). One of the main exhibits of the exhibition is a row of people (made of cardboard + photo) made from a historical photograph of the VAK in 1989 from the prayer at the sea.

The opening of the Baltic Sea Room due to the restrictions imposed by the pandemic took place in several stages:

  •     September 2020, opening event during the Prayer by the Sea (50 participants)
  •     series of meetings with local politicians and decision-makers
  •     small hiking group during the winter

Deutschland/ Side Event organisiert von CCB MO BUND – Friends of the Earth Deutschland
Der Ocean Summit ist eine viertägige Veranstaltung rund um den Schutz der Meere, die vom 20. bis 23. August 2020 erstmals und danach jährlich in Kiel stattfinden sollte. Die Inhalte reichen von der Bedeutung des Ozeans für alles Leben auf diesem Planeten über die globale Meereskrise bis hin zu unserer Verantwortung in Schleswig-Holstein für Nord- und Ostsee als „Land zwischen den Meeren“. Um diese lokale Verantwortung hervorzuheben, lautete das Thema des ersten Summits „Handeln für Nord- und Ostsee“. Ziel der Veranstaltung ist es, Bewusstsein zu schaffen, Wissen zu vermitteln sowie aktiv zu werden und Handlungsoptionen im Bereich Meeresschutz und Meeresforschung aufzuzeigen. Aufgrund der Covid-19-Pandemie änderte der BUND das Format: Ab Anfang Juni wurden weitere Veranstaltungen (digital, live und hybrid) organisiert, um möglichst vielen Menschen die Möglichkeit zu geben, dem Interesse am Meeresschutz nachzugehen. Ukraine/ Nebenveranstaltung organisiert von CCB MO, dem Westlichen Zentrum der ukrainischen Niederlassung des Weltlabors
Verbreitung von Informationsmaterialien zu Wassereinsparung und ökologischen Hygienepraktiken, die von WorldLab mit Unterstützung von CCB erstellt und implementiert wurden, auf dem Umweltforum „Abfallwirtschaft in der Ukraine: Gesetzgebung, Wirtschaft, Technologie“ vom 8. bis 10. Oktober 2020 (https://www.ecoleague.net/pres);
Installation einer Ausstellung in den Räumlichkeiten der Abteilung für Wasserressourcen des Westlichen Bugs mit Übergabe gedruckter WorldLab-Materialien an den Rat des Westlichen Bug-Beckens;
Es wurde eine Pressewand gedruckt, die die wichtigsten Etappen, Ereignisse und Erfolge widerspiegelt, darunter die Arbeit zu Öko-Sanitäranlagen, Mikroplastik und Einwegplastik während der 15-jährigen Zusammenarbeit von Worldlab mit CCB.

 

Die Nebenveranstaltungen des CCB wurden durch das EU-Life-Programm gefördert.
